It has finally happened. The Miami Heat are in the NBA Finals. Some hate it, but some love it. It is also a Finals rematch of 2006. Even though only two players from each roster were on those 2006 team ( Heat- Udonis Haslem and Dwyane Wade, Mavs- Dirk Nowitzki and Jason Terry), it is still a chance to get revenge for the Mavericks. Someone will walk out of this with their first ring, most notably Dirk or LeBron. They both have had a great postseason, and have deserved a chance at the championship. their has been much scrutiny ever since July 8th, the day LeBron James made “The Decision”. The day he decided to “take his talents to South Beach”, instead of staying in Cleveland or going somewhere else. Now “The Big Three” (LeBron, Wade, and Chris Bosh) have finally made it to the Finals. Can they pull it off? According to LeBron they can. He says that they will win “not 5, not 6, not 7 [rings]” and “once we get their, it will be easy”. Can they walk-the-walk and talk-the-talk? Beginning Tuesday we will find out. And Dirk, who has had an amazing Playoffs Career (25.9 pts. and 10.5 reb.), will have another shot at the title. One of the many things that is being discussed is, “Who would the title be more important for: Dirk or The Big Three?” This is really quite a tossup. Dirk has had an amazing Career, and deserves a ring after 12 years in the league. But after everything that happened this Summer and season, The Big Three will have a failed season to some if they don’t win. They will just be all talk to some. The high expectations that they set for themselves will not have been met. The whole “Us Against the World” thing they say “motivates them, but will it be enough? I could see this series going 6 or 7 games, and I’m not sure if I can pick a winner. Let’s watch these NBA Finals and see who get’s their first ring, Dirk, or LeBron.

I’m rootin’ for Dallas now that OKC is out. Dallas is shooting 77.7% from the charity stripe so far this season. It’s a sign.
How about Cleveland trying to trade up to get picks #1 AND #2 in the draft. Guess #1 and #3 isn’t good enough?>
dur..I meant #1 and #4.
